IPA Board Member Named to Dutch Council for Medical Sciences

Effective 1 November 2020, International Psychogeriatrics Association (IPA) Board member Professor dr. Hilde Verbeek has been named to the Health Council of the Netherlands.
The council advises Dutch Parliament on all matters related to medical and health sciences. Furthermore, it is the Dutch representation within the Council for the International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS). As a member of the Council, Prof. dr. Verbeek will represent IPA’s mission to promote better mental health for older people, in the lines of positive psychiatry.
