Nurses
IPA’s Nurses Professional Discipline Forum offers an exciting opportunity for nurses to share unique perspectives and challenges regarding mental health and aging related issues. It is intended to enhance nursing knowledge and perspectives in the field of geriatric mental health, enhancing the communications structure through which nurses can share experiences, information and knowledge, and help to attract and mentor the next generation of geriatric mental health nurses.
Activities and strategies produced from the IPA Nurses Professional Discipline Forum not only benefit nurses, but also colleagues across disciplines. Most importantly, the elderly themselves ultimately benefit from an active and vibrant nursing network. Members are encouraged to present their suggestions and ideas about what might be helpful to them within the framework of the Nurses Professional Discipline Forum.
The IPA Nurses Professional Discipline Forum interacts online through the IPA Member Forums, and meets regularly at each IPA Congress.
