Dr. Edgardo Reich, M.D. is a Board Certified Neurologist (National Academy of Medicine) who earned his Medical Degree from Buenos Aires University. After completed his residency training in Neurology he was Visiting Physician in the Neurobehavioral Unit and Memory Clinic at UCLA.
He worked in the last 30 years as Professor and Chairman of Neurology at Julio Mendez Hospital, in Buenos Aires, and Buenos Aires University School of Medicine. He is currently Professor of Neurology and Neurosciences in Buenos Aires University.
He has dedicated his work to research and treatment of cognitive and behavioral aspects of dementia spectrum, focusing in Alzheimer Disease, also participating as Principal Investigator in Dementia Clinical Research. He has written numerous chapters in books of Neurology and Cognitive Disorders, and has published and presented his work in national and international meetings.
Dr. Reich founded and leaded the Neuropsychiatry Chapter in the Argentine Neurological Society, where he is currently Delegate for International Meetings and was former Coordinator of the Government Program of Neuroscience and Mental Health of the Buenos Aires City Government.
His vision includes not only individual but also Public Health and Educational Programs linked to Neuroscience and Mental Health, specially oriented to Healthy Ageing.
