Hello IPA colleagues,

The year 2023, marks the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This event is aligned with the United Nations Human Rights 75 Initiative, “together, let’s rejuvenate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, demonstrate how it can meet the needs of our time AND advance its promise of freedom, equity and justice for all”.

The objective of this event is to advocate for the promotion, protection, and effective access to human rights focused care of older persons with mental health conditions and psychosocial disability. This event is a joint production of the International Psychogeriatric Association and the World Psychiatric Association: Section of Old Age Psychiatry.
